INTERIOR DESIGN SUMMARY

This collection of residences is composed of crisp lines of oak and cur- vaceous strokes of warm plaster. The wood grain's richness intersects with the marble's uninhibited veining. The space captures the casual elegance that fits perfectly with the vibrant colors right outside the oversized black metal and glass doors. The floors are made of creamy white travertine and the walls follow suit in a coordinating plaster.

The kitchen is open, communal and just waiting for people to sit around the large, grooved stone island. There are hints of contrast in the hand- made black steel hardware and carved wood features.The countertops are thick light grey marble, and the fixtures accent thenatural tones with their velvet nickel finish. The bathrooms are detailed with grooved white oak vanities, handcrafted ceramic tile and vanity mirrors framed in blackened steel. The furniture is luxe and unfussy-casual tumbled Belgian linens sit next to thick oak table tops and custom hand-tufted rugs. Rich, soft leathers in cognac mingle with vintage-inspired olive green sconces, dusty blue wovens and marigold throw pillows. Ceramic light fixtures glow above the island and complement the brushed brass chandelier in the dining room. There is a delicate balance of handmade and polished, luxurious and laid-back.
